KELLY BURROWS  WRITES ON CHURCH PROTOCOL

I’m addressing this to the Anglican clergyman in particular. My observation at funerals is no longer a service of respect for the dearly departed. It’s becoming a showcase with the movement of people during the solemnity of the Liturgy. Also cellphones going off, my humble opinion these matters need to be addressed before it gets out of hand, even to the point during the sermon the up and down movement of people shows a lack of respect to our sacred traditions overall even at regular services you find the unnecessary movement of people. It’s very annoying and disturbing. So, please don’t be afraid to address this matter before the service that unless it’s an emergency please respect God’s House. There are certain protocols that are being ignored that’s becoming to consistent that our eyes seem to be closed to. Let’s bring back the standards that we once adhered to in worship, and get away from the showboating. If you have a problem in sitting still for an average of approximately 2 1/2 hours, then I suggest you need to see your urologist or simply stay home instead of making a nuisance of yourself.
