Good evening and thank you for allowing me these few minutes tonight to say a word of greetings from the people of Fox Hill to the people of Elizabeth and of Yamacraw.  You have two fine representatives in the form of my brother Ryan Pinder and in the form of my sister Melanie Griffin.

I look forward to working with them as we form the next government of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas.
Just a few comments on the current political scene.
Cassius Stuart who fought for a third party and said he would never give up his party is now an FNM.  After fighting against the sale of BTC, he is in league with the man who sold our country out for a 30 pieces of silver and Bran McCartney’s seat in Bamboo Town. Politics makes strange bedfellows.

He has a whole lot of explaining to do.

Remember what Caesar said in the play Julius Caesar about Cassius who plotted his assassination: Yon Cassius has a lean and hungry look.

But we always said a third party in this system is a graveyard and we are right again.  Cassius Stuart led his party into the graveyard.  There are two choices in this country one is FNM.  That is the bad choice.  The other choice and by far the best choice is the PLP.
But that apparently does not stop Bran McCartney the now Independent former FNM MP for Bamboo Town.  He caused poor Hubert Ingraham to go to Bamboo Town and apologize, then when faced by some PLPs break off running to his car.
This morning Mr. McCartney announced that he has reinvented the wheel.  Where Etienne Dupuch’s BDL, Paul Adderley's NDP, Alfred Butler's PDP, Norman Solomon's SDP, Henry Bostwick's BDP, Bernard Nottage's CDR, Fred Mitchell’s PDF all failed, Mr. McCartney plans to succeed. All these others have all gone down the road to the graveyard; it is as clear as day, yet Bran McCartney, as smart as they say he is, plans to lead yet another group of men and women into the political graveyard.
Mr. McCartney come join the PLP.  It is never too late to do the right thing.  But you I always say: the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

They say Mr. McCartney plans to take the road less travelled and he therefore has miles to go before he sleeps.

They also say that Holowesko money is behind this new party the DNA.  I do not believe that Lynn Holowesko is behind it nor is her money.  She is quite safely FNM and firmly in the hip pocket of Hubert Ingraham.  Not a chance and not a penny.  Come Election 2012, DNA will be DOA—dead on arrival.

You read your newspapers this morning.  You saw that the field hand who runs our government has successfully passed the national patrimony of The Bahamas in the form of BTC to a Jamaican posse and their British overlords for now. 
Your PLP administration will get it back and the FNM by attacking our leader is trying to get us to tell them how we are going to do it.  Hell with that.  We will do it according to law.  You tell some and you hold some.
Nearly 38 years ago, we fought to rid this country of the British as our overlords; we are seeing what they are doing to the people of the Turks and Caicos as we speak, and now the captain of our ship has sold us out for 30 pieces of silver to the very same people that we threw out of here in 1973.  They are right back in charge of BTC without firing a shot.  It was handed to them on a silver platter by one of our own people: what a lousy Prime Minister he has turned out to be.

That newspaper photograph this morning should cause every one of us to go out and register and vote this treacherous, unpatriotic, traitorous government out of office.  Imagine that after 40 or more years of building up equity in BTC, run and built by Bahamians.  One day Kirk Griffin, an Eleuthera man born and bred is the boss, the next day he is a field hand.  And he was sold into this new slavery by one of our very own.  Isn’t it a shame?  It is more than a shame.  It is a disgrace.

But this is our time to show the Bahamian people that we fought for this country and will continue to fight for this country.  This is the great PLP.  We must organize and vote these treacherous unpatriotic traitors out of office.  And then we must govern with a firm hand but with compassion not biggetty and wicked and corrupt and hating the people that we lead.

It is getting to war time.  We must put on the armour of God and gird up for the mother of all battles. Hubert Ingraham and the FNM must go.
