Dr. Cecil Bethel Dies
He is said to have been the first graduate of the University of the West Indies Medical School from The Bahamas. He was the son of the famous first Bahamian headmaster of the Government High School of the same name. He went on to distinguish himself in his field and as a civic leader, a quiet dignity and a trusted name. Sadly at the age of 85, after living a long and fruitful life, he passed away on 15th January.
