The former Prime Minister Hubert Ingraham in his post hurricane relief tour told the press on 11 September 2019 that hundreds have died as a result of Hurricane Dorian. The Punch, the nasty rag paper, carried a headline that some 2300 had died. The Government says 50 have died. The Government says they can only say who have been counted as dead  and their figure is not speculative, nor does it include those who are listed as missing who now number 1300. We need to get to the bottom of this.  That is what has the country traumatized, the missing and the dead.  The Government’s slow pace in admitting that there are larger numbers and getting to identify the numbers is causing anxiety and despair.
