Attorney Maurice Glinton Q C of Freeport has reportedly been detained on the authority of a bench warrant issued by the Court of Appeal in Nassau on Friday 9^th October. Lawyers have been working on his behalf to get the matter discharged.  It is not known what the subject matter is and the reason for the bench warrant but  jailing a Queen’s Counsel will raise a lot of eyebrows and this matter should be discharged as soon as possible.
