On Wednesday 6 April 2022, the Prime Minister Philip Davis announced the names of additional ambassadors who will serve The Bahamas. They are thematic ambassadors and those to international agencies. They are Leon Williams, Ambassador to the International Telecommunications Union, Winston Pinnock, Ambassador to the Food and Agricultural Organization, Hope Strachan, Ambassador to the United Nations Education Scientific Cultural Organization, Damien Gomez Q C, Ambassador at Large to the Inter American Commission on Human Rights, Ron Pinder, Ambassador at Large and the Representative of the Foreign Ministry on the National 50th Anniversary of Independence Commission and for the environment, Al Dillette, Consul General for Toronto.
