These are 12 women said to have been dancing in a strip club and charged by immigration with violating immigration laws last week.  There is something wrong about this. The Government released these photos to the press.  This is prima facie a trafficking  in persons (TIP) crime. The Government of The Bahama should not have permitted these people to be slut shamed in this manner.  The Magistrate asked a legitimate question: where was the employer.  The authorities say that there is no TIP offence here but we beg to differ.  We think that a closer examination of the case may well reveal just that fact. Unfortunately most have been repatriated and so we will never know.
