The Mistreatment Of The People Of Fox Hill

This is going on three months since The Bahamas government allowed the lights to be disconnected at the Fox Hill Community Centre in violation of the agreement with the Board of The Centre to pay the light bill, telephone and water bills and the staff.  The Member of Parliament Shonel Ferguson has turned out to be useless.  She cannot get the lights back on.  Now it appears that the Government has a scheme to take over the centre completely and turn it over to Social Services.  This will mean the death of the dream of George Mackey.  It will become another Government building, which will in a matter of years be run down into the dust.  The people of the Fox Hill Community must not allow this to happen.
