The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas congratulates Jamaica on the conduct of peaceful and orderly General Elections held 25 February, 2016, resulting in a successful win for Prime Minister, Andrew Holeness. 

The Bahamas looks forward to working with the new Prime Minister and his administration and continuing to build on the strong relationship of which our two nations currently share. 

Congratulations and best wishes to Jamaica and its newly elected Government.
