NEW YORK — Mr. Phillip McPhee (right), President of the Caribbean and The Bahamas Association of Local Government Authorities as well as President of the Caribbean Association of Local Government Authorities and Co-Chair of the Commonwealth Local Government Forum (CLGF), paid a courtesy call to the Hon. Forrester J. Carroll, Bahamas Consul General to New York, on Friday, April 10, 2015 at Bahamas House, 231 East 46th Street. Mr. McPhee traveled to New York to attend a  session of the Global Task Force of Local and Regional Governments, under the theme, “Mobilizing Local Finance to Implement the Post-2015 Development Agenda,” at the United Nations Headquarters.

 WASHINGTON, D.C. — Members of Junior Achievement Bahamas paid a courtesy call on Mrs. Paulette Zonicle, Bahamas Consul General to Washington, D.C., on Wednesday, April 8, 2015, at the Bahamas Embassy Consular Annex, 1025 Vermont Avenue, N.W. The Junior Achievers, headed by Mr. Philip Simon, Vice Chairman/Acting Executive Director, was on a College Bound Trip touring various colleges and universities in Washington, D.C. and Maryland. The tour is specifically designed to expose the students and to assess which schools would best fit their needs.
