Baldwin Carey Suffers A Heart Attack

Well known physician and public health care executive Dr Baldwin Carey died suddenly in Nassau on Thursday 6 July. He was 77.  Dr Carey was a specialist in gynaecology.  He was latterly involved in the preparation for the National Health Insurance programme. When the Free National Movement came to office, he as dismissed.  PLPs blame the FNM for his death.  He made a contribution to the development of public health care in our country. May he rest in peace.
