PLP Applauds Dr Darville On Vaccines

The PLP wishes to congratulate the Ministry of Health under the leadership of Dr Michael Darville for reaching the important milestone of 154,153 vaccinations of the adult population in The Bahamas. This is about 50 per cent of the population.

We continue to encourage all Bahamians and residents to take advantage of the free vaccines available and the boosters. These are critical to defeating the virus.

The Minister also announced that the government’s free testing programme will soon start.
