OLD PICTURES OF OUR FRIEND SIDNEY

Thanks to Oswald Brown for the reprint of this picture at one of the birthday parties of the late Percy Munnings at the old Central Highway In on Wulff Road, now the site of the National Insurance Board.  The birthday celebrations were legendary and were organized  by Donald “ Nine” Rolle, a well-known golfer and Percy Munnings’ amanuensis.  The photos shows Sidney Poitier, Donald Rolle, Percy Munnings and former Prime Minister Lynden Pindling.  Mr. Munnings was also the treasurer of the PLP.  Late 1960s or early 70s
