THE NEED TO CONTROL THE PLP’S SLEFISH SIDE

There is a proliferation of voice notes and video clips on Facebook and on What’s App with people who are clearly identified as PLP or who clearly say they are PLP who are engaged in conduct which is unbecoming of a PLP at least of those in leadership positions.  We recall the conduct of the Free National Movement and its supporters in the waning days of both Ingraham administrations.  They seemed to have reached  a point where nothing mattered; there was no bridle on their conduct.  They had reached a point where they saw the end coming and the  Government was simply a trough for the hogs to grab and consume what they could because before the end came.  These PLPs engaging in this unbecoming conduct must be careful that  it does not cause the PLP as a body to attract the same reputation as the FNM. seven months into their return office.  The  Treasury is not there for public largesse.  The party is not there to dole out public largesse.  The PLP was elected to serve the people of the   country generally, including PLPs of course.   A word to the wise we hope is sufficient.
