STOP ALL REAL PROPERTY TAX AUCTIONS

The next PLP platform should include a policy promise by the PLP to end all real property tax demands for arrears, write off all arrears and the country will restart.  The threat to sell of the properties of Bahamians is politically counterproductive for a tax that does not materially affect the bottom line of the country. In the meantime the auctions of people’s properties should be put on hold.
