CANDIDA DAMES NOW SAYS BAHAMAR WAS GOOD FOR US

We had a great big laugh and scoff last week after the headline in the Nassau Guardian’s editorial.  The editorial of  21April 2022 said that Bahamar, the hotel property on the western New Providence Cable Beach strip was good for The Bahamas.  We wonder when they discovered that.  This was the same newspaper editor who helped to savage the project in its development, claiming along with the then Opposition Leader Dr. Hubert Minnis that it was a bad deal and somehow, the former Prime Minister Perry  Christie was hiding something from the Bahaman people.  You had to laugh or you would cry. The hypocrisy of it all.
