Governor General Recovering:

In the middle of his visit to Eleuthera on Thursday 7 April 2020, the Governor General Sir Cornelius Smith felt unwell.  He was rushed to the Gregory Town clinic where the diagnosis required him to be removed to the hospital in Nassau.  Air Ambulance a company owned exclusively by Bahamian Dr. Franklin Walkine, former MP for Acklins and Crooked Island accomplished the removal to Nassau.  The Governor General is now said to be resting comfortably  We pray for a speedy recovery.
