HAS HALSON MOULTRIE TAKEN LEAVE OF HIS SENSES?

The press called the Chairman of the PLP Fred Mitchell to ask for a response to a proposal by Halson Moultrie, the former Speaker under the FNM, to challenge the Bahamas Nationality Act and strike it down in its entirety  If that happened thousands of people who were granted citizenship under the law would lose their citizenship.  Some people are too smart for their own good said Mr. Mitchell.  The first thing is Mr. Moultrie is wrong in law, almost certainly.  Secondly, even if he were right why would you want to disqualify thousands of citizens?  What a foolish and selfish thought.  The FNM should put this fellow away privately.
