MITCHELL ON THE BANKING SECTOR

Senator Fred Mitchell spoke on the deficiencies of the banking sector in The Bahamas when the Senate met to pass three bills: the Financial Reporting Transactions Act; the Proceeds of Crime Act; the Witness Anonymity Act.  The Senate met on 30 April. It was also the occasion to mark the birthday of Senator Jasmine Darrius of the FNM. The photo shows the brief celebration.
