MONIQUE SAYS REST IN PEACE

On Thursday 25th July 2019, Monique Pindling, the last child of Sir Lynden and Lady Pindling spoke at the PLP convention when accepting the facsimile of a Life Membership card of the Progressive Liberal Party.  It was Card Number 1 to Sir Lynden Pindling, now deceased.  In responding, Ms. Pindling said that her family was tired of their father’s name being abused and asked those who were doing to stop it.  Delegates responded with applause as Obie Wilchcombe who they were later to reject had spent most of his campaign touting himself as the true heir of Sir Lynden Pindling.  His campaign was filled with Fred Smith Q C inspired cartoons and graphics attacking Senator Fred Mitchell as having been disloyal to the PLP and Sir Lynden.
