New BOC Chairman Rommel Knowles

The new Chairman of the Bahamas Olympic Association is Rommel Knowles.  He succeeds Wellington Miller.  He was elected in a contest between himself and former athlete Mike Sands.  Mr. Miller was set to run again but stepped down after the insurgent team showed up with lawyer Wayne Munroe Q C threatening an injunction because they argued that Mr. Miller was term limited. Mr. Miller was unwilling to carry the organisation through it all. He went into the sunset. So congratulations Mr. Knowles.   16 November 2017
