NGC Approves New Secretary General

The Progressive Liberal Party at its National General Council meeting on Thursday 18 January confirmed the appointment of the new Secretary General of the Party Barbara Cartwright.  Ms. Cartwright is a former member of the Board of the Bahamas Mortgage Corporation and a former consultant to the Ministry of National Security.  She was an aide to the late Dr. Bernard Nottage in the Bain Town Constituency. She succeeds Barbara Pierre who retired after 17 years of faithful service at the end of December.
