Peter Young Does He Have A Say?

Former and retired British High Commissioner Peter Young has been living in The Bahamas since his retirement from office. He served under British Foreign Ministers Robin Cook and Malcolm Rifkin from 1996 to 1999.  He is as far as we know not a citizen of The Bahamas.  He is a contributor from time to time to columns on The Tribune under his name.  Usually they are the insipid menu of a diplomats musing in pleasant retirement.  However, last week he ventured into the territory of the FNM and whether they had a good year or not and commented on the Prime Minister’s chances of success. Question then: is something about which he should have a say or should say?   Just asking for a friend.
