POOR RAGGED ISLAND: THE FNM LIED TO THEM

Two years ago in Ragged Island. Little has changed today.

The Prime Minister at his press conference on Sunday last had plenty of announcements for the people of Grand Bahama and Abaco, now affected by the Hurricane Dorian.  The problem is whatever he has announced has not made any difference within the week in the quality of the lives of the people of those islands.  The security situation in Abaco has deteriorated. The sanitary situation in both Grand Bahama and Abaco is serious.  Those folks cannot take any comfort in the Prime Minister’s promises. He made the same promises about Ragged Island after the last storm Irma. Two years have passed and nothing has happened for the people of Ragged Island. They are fending for themselves.
