From humble beginnings in Cat Island to one of the most beloved and well educated Cat Islanders and public servants and civic activists, Dr. Prince Bonamy died after a valiant battle against cancer and was buried from St Francis Xavier’s Cathedral on Friday 2nd July. Attending was the Prime Minister Perry Christie, the Deputy Prime Minister Philip Davis, his good friend and Mrs. Davis, Fred Mitchell, the Foreign Minister and Allyson Gibson, the Attorney General.
