The former Head of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in The Bahamas and in the West Indies Silas McKinney was buried at Lakeview Cemetery in Nassau on Sunday 31st July in a State Recognised Funeral. The Governor General Dame Marguerite Pindling, the Prime Minister Perry Christie and the Leader of the Opposition Hubert Minnis attended the service. Other Cabinet ministers attended as well.
