THE FIGHT FOR POWER IN THE FNM’S CONVENTION

So there is a real fight brewing in the FNM General Convention which is scheduled to be held on the 25 February 2022.  They have already elected a new leader in Michael Pintard, although the former leader Hubert Minnis is trying his best to steal his thunder every week, But the picture shows from the Nassau Guardian that MP for St Barnabas Shennondon Cartwright, with Andrew White, the MP for St Anne’s, running for Deputy Leader Cartwright and White and Ellsworth Johnson for Chairman.  Also in the race for Chairman is Dr. Duane Sands, the former health minister.  Dr. Sands is said to be the favourite of former Prime Minister Hubert Ingraham. It’s going to be a real dung show.
