The Power Is Still Off … No End In Sight

The power situation in New Providence has gotten worse since last week.  The people who run the Bahamas Power and Light could not keep the lights on during the days that the storm raged in Abaco and Grand Bahama but hardly touched New Providence.  Yet in the middle of storm, with hardly a wind blowing in Nassau, the entire island of New Providence went dark. Their issue was that some board which controls the over all system failed so in order to protect the system they had to shut it all down.  They are experts at telling you why the power failed but cannot keep the power on.
