THE SCANDAL OF THE LIGHTS ON THE STREETS IN NASSAU

Have you noticed that every neighbourhood you go into New Providence, the streets are pitch black at night and the street lights work only intermittently  on some poles? BPL is deluged with requests to fix the lights but they are unable to do so. The question is why?  It appears they have run out of money.  The present orange lights are no longer state of the art. They are obsolete and are no longer manufactured. They all have to be replaced. The Government must tell us in the midst of a crime epidemic why the streets have gone dark.
