THE STORY OF THE HOLOWESKO FOOD FIASCO

Prime Minister Philip Davis announced during his midyear budget debate that the head of the FNM’s food distribution programme Susan Larson, nee Holowesko collected seven thousand dollars to run the programme and that 8 per cent of the 47 million or so collected was retained for administrative fees.  This deprived the public poor of some 5 million dollars or so.  We understand that Bishop Walter Hanchell, Bishop Lawrence Rolle and Rev. C B Moss all want to find out why this should be when they were struggling to  keep their food programmes going because of lack of money but Mrs. Larson was collecting a  cool 7 k per month and 5 million in administrative fees.
