The Synod Of The Anglican Church | 21 October 2019
We congratulate the Anglican Bishop Laish Boyd for his challenge at the opening of the 116th Anglican Synod of the Diocese of The Bahamas and the Turks and Caicos Islands at the Christ Church Cathedral on Monday 21st October 2019. Amongst his subjects the treatment of Haitians in The Bahamas. He denounced the way people talk and treat Haitians in The Bahamas and said we must recognize that they made a contribution to the building of our country. He also criticized the work ethic of Bahamians who see the Haitians working but are standing on the sidelines criticizing. These are not easy subjects to tackle in our country but need saying. Well done.
