Tribute To George Curtis By Brain Seymour

George Curtis today, after a brief illness, slipped from time into the Master’s nearer presence. Paul Darville, toasted George on the occasion of his 80th birthday, described him as a straight shooter; I concur. George was, also, a counsellor and an advisor too many. He placed high value and currency on decency and fairness, particularly in interactions with one another.
The last time we sat at lunch in 2020, I Insisted upon this photo and George was in full agreement. He said, we did not know who could be the next person to go missing from the lunch table. Little did we know at the time, it would be George. Today, a trusted friend and confidante, George “Pecos” Curtis has passed. Rest In Peace, my friend.
