WHAT ARE THE AMERICANS DOING IN UKRAINE?

So are there is just a lot of bluster and talk. From what the Americans are saying, the Russians are about to  invade Ukraine.  The Americans and their  western allies say that the consequences for Russia will be tough mainly economic sanctions.  Of course the record shows that economic sanctions don’t do anything to stop a tyrant from doing what he wants to do.  The question is: what will happen if he does invade?  The people of Ukraine cannot depend on the U S government to step in and protect them.  They will be swallowed up by the great Russian bear.  That’s been the history and if the words we hear today are anything to go by and the invasion happens, that will be the result again.
