SCOTIA BANK MAKES ANNOUNCEMENT ON BRANCHES

cialis treatment times;”>sebas_bastianThe following statement was issued by Scotia Bank last week confirming the worst fears of Bahamians. Bottom line is that 7 branches will be closed and fifty people will lose their jobs. This comes also with the news that 47 people will be laid off by American Airlines and that there will be layoffs at the One and Only Ocean Club property. Add to that the sloth of Bahamar opening and it is not a pretty picture. Scotia bank did not suffer well from the Minister of Labour Shane Gibson who said they fired only Bahamians and did not let the expats go. Then Sebass Bastian, viagra sale the Island Luck owner of a gambling house said that the FNM was not noisy enough on the firings of Scotiabank but were busy attacking the Bank of The Bahamas. He attacked the banks generally for refusing to take deposits from the web shop accounts. He made the remarks as he announced the grants for his entrepreneurship programme of 25,000 dollars each and advertising and internet support to Gregory Cooper and Youlette Etienne on Wednesday 1st April. The grants are to be given out three times a year. March July and October. There are also lesser grants given out.   The announcement and remarks came on 1st April at a press conference.
