A Special Message To Ken Dorsett From Shakespeare

Tribune photo

On the Ides of March, Julius Caesar was murdered by his friends in the Roman Senate.  In an eloquent speech at the funeral of Caesar, Marc Anthony said in part these words:  “They that have done this deed are honourable.

What private griefs they have, alas, I know not,

That made them do it. They are wise and honourable,

And will, no doubt, with reasons answer you.

–Act 3 Scene 2 Julius Caesar by William Shakespeare
