BPL UNION STRIKES BACK AT MANAGEMENT OVERTIME ISSUES

Last week, we wrote in defence of Kyle Wilson, the embattled President of the Electrical Workers Union. He is now the object of derision because the claim was made by the management of the Bahamas Power and Light Corporation in the middle of a struggle to keep the power on and for which they need the goodwill of Mr. Wilson, decided to attack the union and accuse them of abusing overtime privileges.  Mr. Wilson appeared on the Shenique Miller show on television and had a simple answer. He said management approved the overtime, so who then is at fault. Touché
