On the passing of Rugby great, Mr. Jonah Lomu

Bahamas Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The government of The Bahamas wishes to express its deep regrets over the news of the recent passing of New Zealand rugby union great Mr. Jonah Lomu.

The Bahamas extends sincere sympathy and condolences to the family of Mr. Lomu, the All Blacks rugby team, the People, and the government of New Zealand.

Mr. Lomu was widely considered to be one of the greatest rugby players of all time, and an inspiration to many. He will be sorely missed.

This sentiment was conveyed to the government and people of New Zealand via diplomatic note.
