The Bahamas was awash with rumours today and yesterday as the hurricane went off into the north  and into infamy.  The reports of 30 dead and 8 dead are false.  The Prime Minister and a political and technical team went to some of the affected areas on Saturday 3^rd October.  The photos are by Peter Ramsay of the Bahamas Information Services
