MAJORITY RULE DAY OBSERVED

doctor times;”>Peter Ramsay’s photo shows the observance today of  the 49th year since Majority Rule came to our country in 1967.  The commemoration was observed at the graveside of Sir Lynden Pindling at St Agnes Cemetery.  His widow now the Governor General Dame Marguerite Pindling, the Prime Minister Perry Christie, Fred Mitchell MP, the Hon Arthur Hanna, former Governor General and the only original member of the 1967 Cabinet alive,  Fred Mitchell, Chair of the Parliamentary Committee on National Honours and other Members  the Parliament attended the service.
