Fred Mitchell MP for Fox Hill issued the following statement

2 September 2015

Once again I am forced to express my great sadness, regret and shock at the shooting of a young Fox Hillian on the Freedom Park, this time in broad daylight and once again in the presence of family and friends. I have been in touch with the family and with the officials with regard to this matter. The police are investigating the matter and I trust that the culprits will be caught and brought to justice. This is a slap in the face once again to civilized behavior. We must get to the bottom of this and fast. I appeal for calm and pledge to continue to work for peace in our community.
