Mitchell Pays Tribute to Reginald Poitier

Leader of The Opposition Philip Davis, former Minister for Social Services Melanie Griffin, Senator Fred Mitchell, Chair of the PLP and PLP Stalwart Councilor Fernley Palmer at the funeral of the late Reginald Poitier, former taxi driver and hero of the 1958 general strike; oldest brother and last sibling of the actor Sidney Poitier. He was 99 years old at the time of his death.  The service was held at Our Lady’s Roman Catholic Church in Deveaux Street in New Providence on Friday 7the September 2019.
