PICEWELL SPEAKS UP FOR THE LBGTQ COMMUNITY

Now you know times are a changing when Picewell Forbes the MP for South and Central Andros is able to speak up for the LGBTQ community in The Bahamas.  In response to the hate bile spewed by the Speaker of the House against Fred Mitchell who he said was a reprobate and pervert and not a real man, Mr. Forbes said that he was approached by gay men in the Starbucks Coffee shop and they said how offended they were by the Speakers comments.  He said he felt that he had to say something because he was surprised at the offence that they took.  He said while he had his views on the matter, he was convinced that no one was in a position to judge.  Kudos for that.
