PLP Message Discipline

There was a post on line of one of the PLP’s leaders supporting the Minnis doctrine of allowing Dominican students to come to The Bahamas as Hurricane refugees.  That’s all fine and good except that is not the official position of the PLP.  A rank and file member of the PLP can say whatever he or she wants in public but policy is decided by the Leader of the Party and its Leadership Council and NGC.  If that is not the line of the party then the party’s leaders throughout the country should defer and get with the programme.  That’s just the way it’s meant to be.  We could assure you that Dr. Minnis was not ever going to support anything the PLP was doing, no matter how good it was.  So let Dr. Minnis and his no good party stew in their own fat and the PLP should stay out of it.
