Returning Diplomats Have To Sue The Government To Get Their Monies

One by one, the Government of The Bahamas has decided not to honour the terms of the contracts of returning Diplomatic Officers and pay them the gratuities which they are owed.  The Ministry is abiding by some bogus directive by the Public Service Ministry that you have to have served at least two years before they will pay the gratuity.  They are also refusing to pay the resettlement grant to which all returning officers are entitled.  They are also refusing to pay the notice pay, even though they terminated the contacts.  The cheques were all ready and were to be paid in accordance with the usual practice but the people’s time Public Service Ministry intervened and stopped the issuance of the cheques. Now everyone is off to court to get their money. These are some mean sons of bitches. And the Ministry is headed by a preacher.
