As the Parliament of The Commonwealth of The Bahamas votes to amend the Constitution of The Bahamas in order to achieve gender equality, I wish to express my prayerful support and encouragement to all Members of Parliament.
The proposed amendments to our Constitution are good and they are needful.
This is a matter of profound national significance far beyond mere politics.
All Bahamian citizens of goodwill should support these proposes changes.
