Senator Michael Darville Sends Out Condolences

The following statement was issued by Senator Michael Darville 2 June 2017

I am saddened to hear of the recent loss of two great men from Grand Bahama who were both giants in their own right. Today, as we celebrate the Labour Day holiday, I cannot help but to think of the valuable contributions both of these men made to the community of Grand Bahama. A dentist and an educator by profession, Dr. Romer and Dr. Minus, respectively, gave of themselves unselfishly, and contributed in their own individual and unique ways to the advancement of our island and its people.

To the Romer and Minus families,
I extend my deepest sympathies to you.

“Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord. And let the perpetual light shine upon them. And may the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.” Amen.
