THE BUSY DAY AT THE MONTAGU RAMP

It was a busy, happy day at the Montagu Ramp on Friday 15 April 2022, Good Friday.  The people are back in the market. The tourists are in town. There are plenty of U S dollars spending.  This is in contrast to the doom and gloom of last year under Hubert Minnis.  So Happy Easter to you. The fishermen told us that scale fish was in short supply this year because the weather was bad but mainly because crawfish sold at 21 dollars per pound.  So people abandoned scale fishing for the crawfish.  But on Friday, it seemed like they did well enough now that the crawfish  season is closed.
