The Fred Smith Roadshow On Immigration Matters

During the time that Fred Mitchell was the Immigration Minister, Fred Smith issued a statement in which he encouraged the illegal migrants in The Bahamas to sue the Government of The Bahamas so the Government could be bankrupted by the law suits.  He has systematically gone about doing that.  His recent victory that he procured in the courts of The Bahamas to bring a man back into the country who Immigration determined was not a Bahamian or had not established that he was a Bahamian has led him to tell the press that he will now pursue substantial damages.  That is the real issue there.  It is a legal racket being run, piling up damages so that he can bankrupt the Government.
