The Progressive Liberal Party’s leader Philip Davis met around the Pindling Mausoleum at St Agnes Grave Yard to mark the 54th anniversary of the first  government  of people of African descent.  On that day Sir Lynden Pindling led the men of the PLP into government. The first time in 319 years after the first European and African settlers came here and 133 years since the abolition of slavery.
