THE TRIBUNE RUNNING INTERFERENCE FOR THE FNM

So as soon as the former Prime Minister Hubert Minnis came with his nasty statement about whose ass he was gonna buss, The Tribune went into overdrive.  The allegation of the Prime Minister Philip Davis is that there was corruption in the food distribution programme of the Free National Movement during the pandemic.  That translated for The Tribune into an allegation yes of malfeasance against one of the programmes run by one of the sacred and holier than thou members of the Holowesko clan. Remember the whole Minnis administration was populated by Holoweskos who gave generously to his campaign and got rewarded with one position after the next: Ambassadorship,  a position on the University Board, Chairmanship of Town Planning and  yes heading the food programme.

The Holowesko who headed the food programme said that the Prime Minister should not have  attacked the  non-governmental, organization because it would harm other wanting to give in the future.  We shed a tear for that. That was carried on The Tribune’s front page.  Then  on the editorial page, they claimed that the Prime Minister had made the allegations without proof.  Never mind the Deloitte report that was tabled in the House by the Prime Minister on 9 March 2022.  But that is another story.
